Why give to Community Health Care?

Vaccinations for a young child, routine preventative care for an elderly patient, management of diabetes for a migrant worker, urgent dental care for a young professional, and a medical plan for a grandfather with hypertension.

These are the patients that we serve. When given the proper care, these individuals will increase their quality of life, but when ignored because of social deterrents including financial resources, they can drastically decrease their quality of life and put stress on everyone's access to medical resources.  At Community Health Care, we tackle these issues for all people in need including those with and without health insurance.

Community Health Care provides services for all those in need and that includes the homeless.

We serve many of the most vulnerable in our community. Homelessness is a complex issue that usually involves several triggers which can include financial, health and social reasons.

Your support is vital in helping us fulfill our mission to serve the Quad City region by providing quality primary health, dental and behavioral health care for all people in need. For more than 45 years, CHC has been the primary care safety net for those in our community who are most vulnerable. Our services keep emergency rooms from becoming over-crowded and keep our communities healthier. By providing low-cost services, we are keeping healthcare costs affordable for everyone, and we need your help.
