     Community Health Care's role in COVID-19 Vaccine Administration

CHC is a partner of the local health departments and will administer vaccine as it becomes available to us.  We are currently assisting the Scott County & Rock Island County Health Departments.  We will administer vaccine to CHC patients, and when available to us, to community members.

FDA  Authorized Vaccines

  • Requires two doses

  • Second dose recommended 21 days after first dose

Who is eligible to get vaccinated as of today?

State of Iowa

 

Phase 1A:

  • Health care Workers

  • Long-term care facility residents

Phase 1B:

  • Residents 65 years and older

  • First responders, including firefighters, police officers and social/child welfare worker

  • School staff, including pre-K through 12 workers, early childhood education and childcare workers

State of Illinois

 

Phase 1A:

  • Health care Workers

  • Long-term care facility residents

Phase 1B:

  • Residents 65 years and older

  • First responders (fire, law enforcement, 911 workers, security personnel, school officers)

  • Education (congregate child care, pre-k through 12 workers) 

  • Food and agriculture workers (processing, plans, veterinary health, livestock services, animal care)

 

  • Manufacturing, Corrections workers, US Postal Service workers, Public transit workers, Grocery store workers, Shelters, Adult day care
